Changes on EMSP Executive Committee

We are thrilled to announce some exciting updates on the EMSP Executive Committee, including the appointment of a new Treasurer and new Young Person’s representative on EMSP Executive Committee.

Change of Guards for EMSP Treasurer Position

Firstly, we bid a fond farewell and extend our deepest gratitude to Klaus Knops, who has served as on EMSP ExCom since 2018 and as our Treasurer with utmost dedication and excellence. Klaus’ contributions have been invaluable, helping steer our financial strategies and ensuring the stability and sustainability of EMSP. We extend our sincerest thanks for his hard work, commitment, and unwavering support throughout their tenure.

As we embark on this new chapter, we are delighted to welcome Jan van Amstel in his new role of Treasurer. As a member of EMSP Executive Committee since 2022, Jan brings a wealth of experience in finance, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to our organisation’s mission. We are confident that his leadership will further strengthen our financial management practices and support our continued growth and impact.

In his new role, Jan will oversee all financial aspects of our EMSP, working closely with the Executive Committe and CEO to ensure transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. His expertise will be instrumental as we navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead, guiding us toward a sustainable and prosperous future.

Farewell to Nataša Hlaban

It is with mixed emotions that we share the news of Nataša ‘s resignation from EMSP Executive Committee. Nataša has decided to step down from her position due to a career change.

We would like to thank Nataša for her unique insights, expertise, and commitment to EMSP’s mission. We are immensely grateful for her 2 years of service.

 YPN: Spotlight on Tania Pilz

As EMSP bids farewell to our Young Person representative on the Executive Committee, Margarida Piçarra Navalhinhas, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her invaluable contributions in amplifying the voices of young people within our strategic discussions and initiatives planning.

We are pleased to welcome Tania Pilz on board. Her dedication and advocacy will be instrumental in ensuring that the perspectives and needs of the younger generation are not only heard but also integrated into our organisational strategies and decision-making processes.  We are confident that with her passion and insight, she will inspire positive change and make a profound impact on EMSP’s work.
