EDF: 8,000 euros ICT scholarship for student with disability

EMSP’s partner the European Disability Forum (EDF) is offering a high education programme scholarship worth 8,000 euros to a student with disability studying in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in the academic year of 2016-2017.

For applications and information go to EDF’s website.

The deadline is 31 October.

Improved accessibility and usability of many ICT products and services can increase the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in society.

Accessible websites, media formats and assistive technology can support persons with disabilities to take up employment, be involved in their community and become active citizens. Innovation is a key element to further develop new ways to enhance access to ICT for persons with disabilities.
