Stephanie Woschek

Dr. Stephanie Woschek is a distinguished sports scientist and leading expert in exercise therapy for multiple sclerosis. She holds an A-license from the German Fitness Teachers Association and numerous certifications in preventive and rehabilitative sports, including cardiac sports, Nordic walking, and diabetes sports. Dr. Woschek earned her PhD from Saarland University in 2015 with groundbreaking research on “Exercise Training in Multiple Sclerosis,” examining the effects of training and education on motor, clinical, and psychological parameters in people with MS.
Since 2023, Dr. Woschek serves as Head of Unit Education & Services for the German Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she develops patient education programs that provide essential knowledge and competencies about sports and exercise for people with MS. Her mission centers on raising awareness about the critical role of sports and lifestyle factors in MS management while facilitating access to low-threshold programs that empower patients. Through her targeted project work with state associations and her current federal role, Dr. Woschek continues to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical, accessible wellness solutions for the MS community.
