
Nele Vanbilsen
Nele Vanbilsen is a clinical psychologist and researcher serving as Project Coordinator at the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP).
She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (2019) and previously conducted research at KU Leuven developing cognitive-attention training interventions for TBI patients. In 2026 she obtained a PhD in rehabilitation sciences at Hasselt University focusing on the use of auditory-motor coupling in people with progressive MS under the supervision of Prof. Peter Feys.
At EMSP, Nele helps coordinate projects that translate scientific insight into practical advocacy, research collaboration and community support initiatives for people affected by MS and related neurological conditions throughout Europe. Her background in research and her commitment to patient-centred outcomes strengthen EMSP’s work in advocacy, research collaboration, and improving access to care and support services for people living with MS throughout Europe.
