
Antonia Kaltsatou
Dr. Antonia Kaltsatou is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Thessaly with extensive experience in exercise and neurodegenerative diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis (MS). Her research focuses on the role of exercise and environmental factors, such as heat and cooling strategies, in improving symptom management, functional capacity, and quality of life in people with MS.
She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has contributed to European research initiatives. Dr. Kaltsatou is actively involved in the Greek Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she serves as Scientific Advisor, supporting patient-centred initiatives, awareness, and advocacy actions.
Through her work, she aims to bridge research and practice by promoting accessible, evidence-based interventions that enhance the daily lives of people living with MS.
