MS Nurse PROfessional launched in Ireland

The MS Nurse PROfessional online training programme for MS nurses has expanded its coverage to include Ireland. The national launch of MS Nurse Pro was hosted at a specialist meeting held in Dublin Castle. Participating nurses were guided through the programme’s content by EMSP’s Vice President, Anne Winslow (pictured below).

This educational programme, which is category I approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, aligns and acknowledges the role of the MS nurse across Ireland through a recognisable and valued qualification.

Representatives from leading professional and patient groups including MS Society Ireland (represented by Chief Executive Ava Battles, pictured below) and Health Service Executive (HSE) Ireland welcomed the programme and spoke of the importance of having development and educational opportunities to support nurses and other staff who provide care for those living with MS.

The MS Nurse PROfessional has been supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Novartis Pharma AG.
