MS Nurse PRO launched in Portugal

On 6 December, the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform and the Portuguese MS Society launched the MS Nurse PRO online training programme for specialised MS Nurses in Portugal.

From now on Portuguese nurses will be able to benefit from online training in their own language.

European MS Nurse Community

The MS Nurse PRO project aims at building an active community of nurses that strive for harmonised minimal standards of care for people living with MS across Europe while sharing their experiences and best practices both at European and national level.

The MS Nurse PRO provides both at European and national level, online and offline educational content.  The impact analysis of the project who has been running since 2013 shows that the MS Nurse PRO meets the user’s need and exerts a positive influence on clinical practice, resulting in (self-reported) improved care for people with MS.

Expanding all over Europe

The MS Nurse PRO program is the only free and accredited online foundation educational program for nurses working in the field of MS, coordinated by EMSP, in partnership with the International Organisation of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses (IOMSN) and Rehabilitation in MS (RIMS). Launched in 2013, MS Nurse PRO has over 7,500 registered users from more than 30 countries. It is currently available in 13 languages and established in 15 European countries with further launches being planned.
