Emphasis on Youth at World MS Day event in Warsaw

The Polish MS Society marked World MS Day 2013 by organising a debate – at the headquarters of the Polish Ombudsman – on matters concerning young people with multiple sclerosis, such as employment, relationships and making the diagnosis public.

The special guest for the event in Warsaw was EMSP’s Executive Committee member and Youth Representative, Emma Rogan. Herself a person with MS, she advised young people living with multiple sclerosis to “look after their healh”.

The organisers and participants also discussed about the perceived increase in the common knowledge on multiple sclerosis in Poland. On this topic, they mentioned the Under Pressure project and its new website.
