EMSP Webinar: Movement for Brain Health

Physical activity is one of the most accessible ways to protect brain health, yet for many people living with MS, NMOSD or MOGAD, knowing where to start, or how to keep going, isn’t simple. Fatigue, mobility changes, heat sensitivity and fear of relapse can all get in the way.

In this webinar, EMSP brings together sports expert and neuroscientist, Philipp Zimmer, Director, Institute of Sport and Sport Science at TU Dortmund University and Janneke Benders, Patient advocate, Dutch NMOSD & MOGAD working Group, to talk about what the evidence says and what works in daily life.

We’ll look at how exercise and movement can support brain health, mood, fatigue management and independence, and how to adapt activity to different levels of ability.

The session will cover:

  • What current research tells us about movement and brain health in MS and related conditions
  • Practical ways to build activity into everyday routines, whatever your starting point
  • Your questions, answered live by our panel
