Hosted by MEP Billy Kelleher, Substitute Member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Public Health (SANT), the event will explore how healthcare systems can better support integrated brain health and chronic disease care through recognised, digitally enabled advanced practice and specialised nurses.The discussion will examine the role of specialist nurses in coordinating multidisciplinary care, reducing administrative burden, and improving patient outcomes. Participants will also consider how greater access to specialised training, stronger advanced nursing roles, and targeted EU and national policy measures can help build more sustainable and patient-centred healthcare systems across Europe.
